Wiz Khalifa isn't interested in beefing with Waka Flocka Flame. In fact, he isn't interested in beefing with anyone.
"I don't have problems with people, because if I do, I address it," he said when he appeared on Wednesday's "RapFix Live." "If I feel someone disrespected me or if I feel like somebody was mentioning me in an indirect way I'ma find out how to talk to that person and then we'll squash it from there."
There have been rumors of a Wiz and Waka tiff, but it wasn't until Flocka's December interview with DJ Kay Slay on his Shade 45 satellite radio show that eyebrows began to rise. During the interview, Waka said that Wiz had "no swag" and "hyped" his way to the top.
Rather than address his feelings in the media, Khalifa said he'd rather wait to speak to the "O Let's Do It" rapper face to face. "What would I say to him? I really want to say it to him. We'll save it for that, it don't gotta be a public thing. It don't gotta be a peace meeting or nothing like that."
On Tuesday, Waka appeared on Angie Martinez's Hot 97 radio show in New York, and when he was asked about his problems with Wiz, Flocka said the issue was "deaded," but he didn't back down from his original statement. "I voiced my opinion because it's true and it's facts," he said before making some type of amends. "That's a nice guy he makes good music, I got cousins who like his music."
Whatever the case, Wiz won't feed into the negativity. "I never felt no ill will, he has his lane and when his songs come on in the club, people go crazy," Wiz said. "And people like to get high to Wiz Khalifa, so get used to it, baby."
Do you believe that there is serious underlying beef between Wiz Khalifa and Waka Flocka or is it all just media hype? Tell us in the comments.

Beyonce Skypes With Winner Of Remix Contest
'You did a fantastic job,' singer tells Polish producer Jimek.
By Gil Kaufman
<P>As if the honor of being on <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/news.jhtml">Beyoncé</a>'s <I>4: The Remix</I> EP wasn't enough, Polish producer Radzimir Debski (a.k.a. According to a press release announcing the selection, Jimek's song was selected after initial voting by fans, DJs and remixers on the SoundCloud community, with an international panel of judges, including Beyoncé, Afrojack, Isabella Summers of Florence and the Machine, Polish DJ duo Wawa, New York DJ Jus Ske and Oscar-winning producer Giorgio Moroder selecting the winner. </P><P> </P><P>The producer looked stunned when Beyoncé stepped in front of her laptop, exclaiming, "This is not happening!" The "Party" singer assured him that it was. "This is definitely happening ... Thank you for staying awake, I wanted to congratulate you because you're the winner of the 'End of Time' remix competition," she said to Jimek's disbelief, as he took a seat on the floor to settle himself. "Yes you are. Zac Efron Reveals Best Music For Setting The Mood
'Phil Collins,' 'Lucky One' star deadpans to MTV News.
By Kara Warner
In a discussion of the finer aspects of the recently released romantic drama "The Lucky One" with stars Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling, one of the most entertaining subjects to come up revolved around prolific romance author Nicholas Sparks, author of the novel upon which the film is based. Specifically, we wondered whether Efron and Schilling had ever experienced any Sparks-like fantasy romance scenarios in real life.
"I'm sure I've said some of those lines," Efron admitted to MTV News. "They're probably worse — not as good as the ones [Sparks has] written, but they were excellent in the moment."
"I'm sure they were great," Schilling offered. "I'm sure they worked in the moment."
"I feel like they were good," Efron said with a smile.
"It's about the right moment," Schilling added, referring to the fact that there's a perfect time and place for romantic gestures. "There have been a few sweeping gestures [in my life] but what means the most to me are the little things from the heart. There have been a few notes and well-timed flowers that mean more than anything else."
"Every once in a while when you look into each other's eyes and that music starts playing, I love that," Efron joked, which prompted us to ask a follow-up question about which song you should play when trying to set the mood.
"That's a good question. What would be your song that you would play?" Schilling asked Efron. "I have no answer."
"Phil Collins," Efron deadpanned, which sent his co-star into a fit of giggles.
"That's great!" she said, laughing. "That's a good blanket artist. It's a great answer."
"I think so," Efron said.
We can just picture it now, Efron and a very lucky lady about to lock lips with Collins' classics "In the Air Tonight" or "Against All Odds" playing in the background.
Check out everything we've got on "The Lucky One."

Will Black Keys Team Up With Ke$ha? First They Want Jim Nabors
The duo sat down with MTV News in Berlin to discuss a pair of unlikely collaborations.
By James Montgomery
<P>Theirs is a relationship that has spanned time and Twitter, <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/77286418598211584" target="_blank">seafood</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/157523381602889728" target="_blank">shaving</a>, but over the years, the unlikely bond between the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/black_keys/artist.jhtml">Black Keys</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/id_3213641/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> has grown to become something <i>more</i>: a genuine friendship, marked with the occasional trespassing charge. </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Would The Black Keys Ever Collaborate With Ke$ha?" id="vid:731631.id:1678505" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>"We're friends with her, we've known her since way before she was famous, before she was even a singer, I guess," Keys drummer Patrick Carney told MTV News. "When she was 16 years old, she used to sneak into our shows. We kind of became friends with her by kicking her out of our backstage room, over and over again. She actually has snuck into shows in L.A., San Diego, Coachella ..." </P><P> </P><P>"She snuck in and [got] kicked out of one show, like, <i>five</i> times," frontman Dan Auerbach added. "[She] snuck in through the kitchen. I don't know if she's such a big fan; she just likes breaking the rules." </P><P> </P><P>So, when MTV News sat down with the 'Keys in Berlin during the premiere of their <a href="/news/articles/1678662/black-keys-gold-on-the-ceiling-music-video.jhtml">"Gold on the Ceiling"</a> video, we had to ask if their friendship with Ke$ha would take the next step: an actual musical collaboration. It's not all that far-fetched, considering both Ke$h and Auerbach live in Nashville ("I see her every once in a while flying by in her T-Top [convertible]," Auerbach laughed), and recently, the glittery one has logged studio time with <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/keshasuxx/status/160846424609787906" target="_blank">the Flaming Lips</a>. So, could we see a team-up on the next Black Keys album? </P><P> </P><P>"I guess, I don't know," Carney said. "We don't really do that many collaborations, really." </P><P> </P><P>OK, so if a Ke$ha collabo isn't in the cards, just who would the 'Keys like to work with next? Well, as it turns out, they've got their eyes set on landing a very big star for the next record ... even if they mistakenly believe he's deceased. </P><P> </P><P>"We both want to work with Jim Nabors very badly, but apparently he's not with us anymore," Carney said. </P><P>Oh, <a href="http://www.jimnabors.com/" target="_blank">but he is.</a> Which means that, much like Nabors, the dream is alive. The Ke$ha collabo? Eh, probably not so much. </P><P> </P><P><i>Should the Black Keys hit the studio with Ke$ha? Leave your comment below!</i></p>

"The X Factor" is tackling the songs of <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/jackson_michael/artist.jhtml">Michael Jackson</a> on Wednesday night (November 30), on the 29th anniversary of <i>Thriller</i>'s release, no less. </P><P> </P><P>One of the contestants is so stressed over the theme he's emerged as a total perfectionist. During Monday's rehearsals, he had already nixed multiple arrangements the show had provided him. "This is the most unprepared I've felt on a Monday," he said to his mentor as they rushed out of Stage 36. There was a camera crew chasing them to capture the drama — as well as the ensuing late-night emergency meeting with the vocal coaches — so don't be surprised if some of this intense footage ends up in your living room. (This afternoon's dress rehearsal went swimmingly, for the record.) </P><P> </P><P>Meanwhile, one contestant had a full-on battle with his/her mentor over a chair. The mentor said, "Sit and sing." The contestant said, "Again?! How about I do something on my feet for Michael Jackson week?" Another mentor came to the defense of the contestant. In the end, the contestant is sitting after all. Don't worry, contestant. The eerie arrangement of an MJ classic is what folks are going to be buzzing about. No one will care if you sit or stand. In the control room, I spied one of the bigwigs utter the word "brilliant!" after the contestant's dress rehearsal. </P><P> </P><P>Another hot topic: wardrobe! When paying homage to one of the biggest music icons ever, it's tempting for the stylists to include clothing nods to Michael's various looks. But several singers are worried they'll look too much like Jackson impersonators, which has caused many a headache in the wardrobe trailer. But stylist June Ambrose is still able to keep things light in the midst of the drama. While waiting around for a contestant's last-minute fitting, she started an impromptu MJ dance party on the lot. Crotch grabs and "woo" included! </P><P> </P><P>Lastly, Paula Abdul's sunny energy has been noticeably absent on the CBS lot now that all her groups have been eliminated. She went from being the most hands-on mentor to an on-set ghost. "The X Factor" family can't wait to welcome her back for her first live show as strictly a judge. What do you think she's been doing with her newfound free time? </P><P> </P><P><b>You can catch Jim on the "X Factor Pepsi Pre-Show," streaming at 7 p.m. ET tonight on <a href="http://www.thexfactorusa.com/" target="_blank">TheXFactorUSA.com</a>!</b></p>

Along with raising some dough, Beyoncé also raised eyebrows, thanks to her slamming post-baby body. Decked out in a body-hugging navy dress by Victoria Beckham, B rocked sky-high heels, dazzling bling (including a diamond-encrusted eagle) and her hair pulled back in a simple ponytail. So what was Beyoncé doing right in terms of styling herself as a new mom? </P><P> </P><P>"When you think of all the things women dislike about themselves, the majority don't like their upper arms and also have skirt-length issues, so she's addressed both of these. It's an interesting choice because it's snug, not tight," celebrity stylist Robert Verdi told MTV News about B's post-baby style. "There's a distinction. It's body-flattering, for sure. </P><P> </P><P>"It's also a very tasteful length: 2 inches above the knee. It's also a very conservative color, and it's very covered, but it still remains very sexy," he continued about the look. "You don't see all the bumps that women have post-pregnancy. ... Again, the distinction is it's body-conscious without revealing every lump and bump. Tight ain't right, but this ain't tight. This is body-skimming." </P><P> </P><P>With Beyoncé heading back into the spotlight more and more, including a set of <a href="/news/articles/1681308/beyonce-memorial-day-atlantic-city-shows.jhtml">shows planned for Memorial Day weekend</a>, does Verdi think Queen B will reassess her stage style now that she's a mom? </P><P> </P><P>"She's really young, and ... her equity is in her sex appeal, so you can't dismiss that," Verdi said. 'Harry Potter' Encyclopedia In The Works
J.K. Rowling announces she will donate all royalties to charity.

Last week, fans of J.K. Rowling were treated to the title and release date of the "Harry Potter" author's new novel, "The Casual Vacancy." This week is sure to have fans buzzing again as it brings the news that she's started working on a "Harry Potter" encyclopedia.
Rowling answered a fan question regarding the highly anticipated Potter lexicon on the "frequently asked questions and rumours" page of her website.
"For a long time I have been promising an encyclopaedia of Harry's world, and I have started work on this now — some of it forms the new content in Pottermore. It is likely to be a time-consuming job, but when finished I shall donate all royalties to charity."
Back in 2008, Rowling and Warner Brothers won a lawsuit against Steve Vander Ark, the publisher of the Harry Potter Lexicon, who attempted to release a book along the same lines.
Rowling also addressed the biggest burning fan question of all on her website: Will there ever be another "Harry Potter" novel?
"I have always refused to say 'never' to this question," the British author wrote, "because I think it would be foolish to rule out something I might want to do in a few years' time. However, I have no immediate plans to write another Harry Potter novel, and I do think that I have rounded off Harry's story in seven published books."
With the sheer volume of a project like the Harry Potter encyclopedia, it's unlikely it will be available anytime soon. But Rowling's first adult novel, "The Casual Vacancy," is set to be released on September 27, 2012. The novel follows a quaint town in the wake of a death that leaves an empty seat on the parish council. Despite appearances, the town isn't all it seems. Behind closed doors it's in a continual state of war and this sudden death leaves it in its biggest war yet.
Should J.K. Rowling write another "Harry Potter" book? Leave your comment below!?

Just when "Twilight Saga" fans thought it was over, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2" director Bill Condon has confirmed that the cast will have to head back up to Canada one more time to put the finishing touches on the November release.
Condon took to the movie's official Facebook page on Saturday to confirm that he's hard at work on the final film in the franchise, including a bit more shooting.
"Greetings from Los Angeles, where we're hard at work on 'Breaking Dawn, Part Two.' It's truly crazy to think that it's been a year since we wrapped production in Vancouver, since for those of us in the editing room the work has never stopped.
A film is a lot like a puzzle, with each piece — each shot, no matter how brief — needing to fit exactly with the ones around it," he wrote in the post. "Our 'Part Two' puzzle is finally coming into full view, and in a few weeks we'll be heading back north to pick up some additional shots — the last tiny missing pieces. We're not shooting any new scenes or dialogue, just some technical work with some of our cast and stunt actors."
He added that for the re-shoots, the film's lead couple, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, will be back to help complete the movie. "I am really looking forward to being back on set with some of the friends I've made on my 'Twilight' journey, like the great Guillermo Navarro, our cinematographer, and his crew. And yes, Rob and Kristen will be there too, to pop in those gold contacts one last time. ...
"I'm excited to report that before too long we'll have another trailer for you to decode," he teased. "And wait until you see the first posters — they're unlike any 'Twilight' images you've seen before. And then November 16th will be upon us and the final film will be yours!"

Michael Jackson Lives On In 'Immortal' Tour
Cirque du Soleil show pays tribute to late icon with world tour.
By Uptin Saiidi
<P><B>NEWARK, New Jersey</B> — Music, dance and acrobatics combine in celebration of <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/jackson_michael/artist.jhtml">Michael Jackson</a>'s iconic life in the "Immortal" World Tour. From trapeze artists to acrobats and even a world-champion pole dancer, guests at the Cirque du Soleil show can expect a high-energy tribute to the legend. </P><P> </P><P>The tour stopped for two nights in Newark, New Jersey, this past weekend (its 40th stop) and will open Tuesday night (April 3) at New York's Madison Square Garden, where it will remain through Thursday. From there, it will continue across North America through the summer before heading to Europe in the fall. </P><P> </P><P><center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:755805/cp~vid%3D755805%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A755805" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></center> </P><P> </P><P>Having already produced the <a href="http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/love/default.aspx" target="_blank">Beatles "Love" show</a> in Las Vegas, Cirque is no stranger to musical tributes. </P><P> </P><P>"Immortal" serves as a sensory explosion that starts on the subdued side and progresses in both spectacle and energy. More than 60 artists perform to 32 songs in a presentation that feels much like a concert with an ensemble of circus-inspired acts elegantly melding together. The stage is two levels with a long peninsula extending into the audience, where the majority of the acrobatics takes place. MJ's famed choreographic style was present in nearly all the numbers, and the audacious task of the performers was well-received by the audience. </P><P> </P><P>The progression of the musical numbers moved seamlessly. The energy kicked into high gear with Jackson-like characters performing "Fanatics Medley" as Jackson 5 — one of them in MJ's signature fedora and another as a gold-suited mime. Jackson's youth was remembered in "Childhood" during which a recording of Jackson's voice referred to his early stardom as he sang, "Have you seen my childhood?/ It's been my fate to compensate/ For the childhood I've never known." </P><P> </P><P>While the moving screens, elaborate stage designs and detailed costumes were impressive, one of the most awe-inspiring moments was witnessing what the human body is capable of during the pole-dancing number. Felix Cane, a two-time world pole-dancing champion, maneuvered in the sky dancing on a pole — with no harness — appropriately performing to "Dangerous," as the audience was captivated by her every move. </P><P> </P><P>Another highlight was "Human Nature," during which the back screens were dominated by Neverland graphics and an image of a young Michael sitting on the moon. In front of the backdrop, a half-dozen artists wrapped in multicolored LED costumes soared through the air in sync, representing the constellations. </P><P> </P><P>"Beat It" got the crowd moving while they watched performers in MJ's signature accessories, including his famous glove and penny loafers, dance in dynamic movement. A rock-infused duel between an electric guitar and electric cello capped the song. </P><P> </P><P>After an elaborate performance to "Black or White," as the night seemed to be over and the audience slowly started spilling into the aisles, the lights illuminated one last time for an encore to "Man in the Mirror." The artists appeared to take a bow in front of exploding fireworks. </P><P> </P><P><i>Have you seen "Immortal"? Share your review below!</i></p>

Will Nicki Minaj Come Back To Twitter?
Her Barbz sure hope so, but Nicki bid them 'good f---ing bye' on Sunday.

On Sunday, more than 11 million Barbz had their lifeline to Nicki Minaj abruptly severed when the femcee shut down her Twitter account.
Tensions initially escalated over Minaj's accusation that a fan site had leaked some of her tracks and culminated in the rapper's deactivation of her account. This move came as a shock to many of her fans, as Minaj was one of the most followed Twitter users in the world (she had more followers than Oprah!) and constantly filled her timeline with personalized responses to individual fans. It seems that maintaining such an open dialogue with her fans may have backfired as she formulated her last frustrated tweets including, "Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f---ing bye."
While having a Twitter following in the millions certainly comes with perks, the negative comments undoubtedly wear on stars. Chris Brown has deleted his account and his tweets on more than one occasion, after getting fed up with comments from other users about his personal life. Brown and Minaj aren't alone: John Mayer, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato have all been Twitter quitters at one point too.
Celebs ditch Twitter for a variety of reasons — after a scandal, over backlash from ill-thought-out comments, or sometimes just to focus on their career and not get caught up in the constant flow of communication the social-networking site thrives on. But it seems just as difficult to stay away. Brown, Lovato and Cyrus have all since returned to the site, while Mayer currently has a working account with zero tweets logged.
But how long does Minaj have to decide about coming back to her millions of Barbz? According to a source at Twitter, after a period of inactivity (several months of not logging in), a deactivated handle can be reassigned to another user. However, before anyone thinks they can snap up the @nickiminaj handle in a few months, with a verified celebrity account, Twitter works with the user before any action is taken. So whether Minaj ever returns, no one should count on grabbing that user name anytime soon. Plus, if she does have a change of heart, her following will remain intact, so the Barbz would be the first to know about a comeback.

'Harry Potter' Encyclopedia In The Works

Have you heard the news, movie fans? Seven years after meeting on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are engaged! No, for real this time. Cynthia Pett-Dante, Pitt's manager, confirmed the news on Friday (April 13), saying, "It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy."
Robert Procop, the designer of Jolie's engagement ring, released a statement to People: "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina's hand."
We can hear all the ladies in our office swooning, but that's not the only exciting news for fans of the Hollywood power couple. Pitt and Jolie may star together alongside Michael Fassbender in the forthcoming movie "The Counselor."
Deadline Hollywood reports that director Ridley Scott wanted Pitt and Javier Bardem for the movie. As he's close to getting them both, rumors are circulating that Jolie might also be in talks to play the female lead. She and Scott have been collaborating on a Gertrude Bell biopic, which may have led to the rumors. With Brangelina's engagement now official, it would make sense that the actors would want to remain close to one another.
But Pitt and Jolie wouldn't be the only ones to reunite via "The Counselor." This would be the first time Scott and Pitt work together since Scott directed "Thelma & Louise," a film that undoubtedly launched Pitt's career.
"The Counselor" was written by Cormac McCarthy. It follows a well-respected lawyer (Fassbender) who gets involved in the drug business and quickly finds himself in a situation that's more than he can handle. If cast in the film, Pitt would play a shady middleman and Bardem would be Fassbender's associate. The movie is said to start filming in June and Fox is currently negotiating to distribute.

Shock Over 'Hunger Games' Directorgate: New Captain Needed Fast!

The big "Hunger Games" news this week wasn't how much cash continued to pour in, but the director who was on his way out. Gary Ross released a statement saying he would not be back for the sequel.
"Despite recent speculation in the media, and after difficult but sincere consideration, I have decided not to direct 'Catching Fire,' " Ross said. "As a writer and a director, I simply don't have the time I need to write and prep the movie I would have wanted to make because of the fixed and tight production schedule. I loved making 'The Hunger Games' — it was the happiest experience of my professional life."
"Hunger Games" studio Lionsgate expressed remorse at Ross' departure. "We're very sorry that Gary Ross has chosen not to direct 'Catching Fire.' We were really looking forward to making the movie with him. He did an incredible job on the first film and we are grateful for his work."
MTV Movies Managing Editor Eric Ditzian thought something was up. "I am frankly surprised he's not coming back, but in retrospect, I could see the implication when he was speaking to us, he was very reluctant to talk about 'Catching Fire,' " Ditzian told the panel on the latest edition of MTV News' "Talk Nerdy."

"Nerdy" host Josh Wigler expressed the need for urgency on the part of Lionsgate to make their hire soon. "Whoever they get to direct 'Fire' needs to have started yesterday. They really need to make this hire pretty fast; production is moving in August."
Who will step in for Ross? On Ditzian's wish list: Darren Aronofsky. "Great with the hand-held camera, great with these intimate first-person narratives. But it's not going to happen. He's busy."
Ditzian's pick for the auteur to drive Katniss' next chapter is Oscar-winning Danny Boyle, who's no stranger to hand-held cameras himself and has proved time and time again, from "Trainspotting" to "127 Hours," that he's a master of first-person tales as well.
The MTV Movies staff also predicts the short list of directors will include Steven Soderbergh, John Hillcoat and J.J. Abrams.
Best Picks for the "Catching Fire" Director Job
"The movie can survive," Ditzian said.
